What is BIRC?
       The Bluetooth Interoperability Resource Center (BIRC) pilot program will offer Bluetooth SIG members opportunities to conduct interoperability testing at convenient, qualified and localized testing centers. Hyper has been chosen as BIRC.

  What are BIRC objectives?
  1. Provide members with expanded access to qualified testing centers to perform interoperability testing.
  2. Promote and expand interoperability as part of the product design process.
  3. Increase Profile Tuning Suite (PTS) utilization as part of the Bluetooth qualification program.
  4. Resolve interoperability, compatibilty and quality issues before products are brought to market.
  What are BIRC resources and services?
  1. Device Library to provide device to device testing.
  2. Dedicated staff with Bluetooth expertise to assist members during testing.
  3. Sniffer tools and other resources necessary for testing.
  Audits and Evaluations
       The SIG will perform audits on both Bluetooth Interoperability Resource Centers to confirm requirements are met. In addition, member survey results will be evaluated to ensure satisfaction and value.
